CLUB dates, matters and things.............. Race Dates 23 Nov Club Meeting - November Warm Up 21 Dec Club Meeting - Christmas Bash Will have timed club meetingin the next two months on above dates with a Christmas Special on 21st Dec Subscription Renewal With the annual renewal coming up at the turn of the year the club needs your support and with £15.00 annual club fee gives great value. Julie will send out renewals and grateful if you could re-apply see Julie. Track matters The moving of a couple of jump, recontouring the table top and added two other jumps has improved the track. Future re-profiling the area of track by the toilet bend to give better vision and interest, a jump going away from the rostrum, adding to the cork screw corner by the pole with additional banking are all on the cards. These features will give maxinum variety to the track plus make the track work backwards will give great scope in racing. Future plans. A/ 1/10 track - Make table top just off bend dimension of 9ft x 9ft to allow complete track usage on top, replace board ramps in depression with soil, edge tail run off edge with wiid support to avoid crumbling side, possible build start ramp, finish off rostrum / platform / sides and install toe board plus rear guard rail. B/Dirt Track - move rostrum over stream plus lift up with concrete blocks, replace both stairs on rostrum, secure planks and get new planks, move pitlane back near to rostrum to give full benefit of two main straights ( one dirt and one grass), edge jumps with pipes to retain profile plus make uniform width, have two other race lane grass (giving three grass lanes to avoid dustboil conditions in summer). These changes plus track circuit evolution and gradual re aligning already mention will transform track. C/ LMCC Race wear - has gone down well with T shirts - £10, followed by Bomber Jackets £20.00 (Still some left), with Sweat shirts £15.00 well received (got just 4 left) and fleeces got 3 left after a number made to order and addional ones sold straight off. Conclusion - Will move dirt rostrum shortly as that is the key to the track layout but the rest of club matters are moving along well with any help always most welcome. well done |

With the weather for once reasonably good the Nitrux R1 meeting had over 40 racers making 6 heats with RallyX split into 3, Truggy 1heat and electrics 2 heats. As time and light allowed, four rounds of qualifying were run and finals had 20 minute across the board. More details shortly. | LMCC at 1/10 regional Mid West AGM - 10 Oct 2008 |

At the BRCA 1/10 class Mid West AGM held on Tues 7th Oct the stats said that the club had the most racers in the 4wd class events in the 2008. The club placed a bid to host two meetings in the 2009 series and await if we can host an event and dates are to be advised. The tyres for year 2009 are Schumacker mini pin (yellow) and Ballistic Buggy spikes with possilby allowing the use of GRP tyres from mid season onward. Entry race fee remains £6.00 and will possibly have central booking in. Late booking in and booking on the day is raised to £8.00 to encourage early booking in. |
| NITRUX R1 re-arranged for 19th Oct - 07 Oct 2008 |

With bad weather forcing the R1 NITRUX meeting to be called off on 5th Oct the meeting has been rearranged for 19th Oct at Ledbury. Track location LEDBURY MAP. Butty bar will be on site for Sunday and will have bonfire + B B Q on Saturday night with over night camping welcome. There will be Saturday night racing for 1/10 & 1/12 on small track. Send in entry using ENTRY FORM. All classes will be catered for with new class for 1/12 scale trucks particularily welcome , send Email race details to address  |

| TRACK CHANGES - Jumps moved - Bomb Hole and Triple - 05 Oct 2008 |

The 1/8 track was recontoured on Saturday with the jump leading to the bomb hole on lane 3 being moved back 8M to be incorporated into the table top. The opportunity to remould the table top into a "U" formation will give many track variations. The moving of the leading triple prior to the bomb hole gives an easier drop into the bomb hole and this with the moving of lane 6 jump before double again aids consistance jumps and better racing. The fourth change along with extensive vibro rolling of 1/8 and 1/10 tracks was the relocation of banking around the pole turn - left as a mound after last earth moving - now gives the start of the corkscrews feature.
